You know when you hear a new song that's so great that you can't stop listening and after the 100th time it's still not boring? Well, that's how I felt when I first heard 'Discovery' by Muhsinah and to this day I still love it as much as the first time I heard it. 24 year old Muhsinah is a serious female singer / songwriter / producer with a lot of soul, creating amazing forward thinking music...she is truely inspiring. Classically trained in piano and growing up around music, Muhsinah had the music bug since day one. Early on she caught the attention of Common who she toured and recorded with and The Foreign Exchange with whom she features on the beautiful album 'Leave it all Behind'. Back in 2009 and still with Donuts, were lucky enough to have Muhsinah come and perform for us in Bristol, she was a pleasure and if you ever get the chance to see her live, then do...in the meantime check out her music.
